BUSTA will be live-painting at Artworks throughout Art All Day. He says:

My passion for urban art, as well as my interest in artwork that reveals the complexity of the human figure, has influenced my work substantially throughout my life.

In a classic sense, I have learned from masters like Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Velazquez, Rembrandt, Rodin, and many others, how paint can be used to give meaning and power to an image placed upon it's canvas. This immortalizes the individual or scene that is being depicted.

On the other hand, during my experience as a graffiti artist, I have worked with images and texts in public spaces, and as a result, my main influences came from hip hop culture and other social scenes and I focus my work on lettering and typography as well as portraiture as a form of personal artistic expression.
